DuluxGroup Protective Coatings is a business group within the Dulux brand. We represent the high performance coatings range produced in our APAS accredited manufacturing plant at Gracefield Lower Hutt and at Rocklea in Brisbane Australia.
Our product range includes single pack primers, Zinc Rich primers, epoxy primers, high builds and top coats, urethanes - 2 pack aliphatic and MCU, Micaceous Iron Oxide alkyds and epoxies, Heat Resisting, Roadmarking and Specialist coatings.
We offer a comprehensive coatings Specification service and Warranty assistance and advice to engineers, architects, construction companies, project managers, steel fabricators and coatings applicators.
Dulux is also ISO 9001 accredited and Dulux Decorative has recently been awarded the prestigious ISO 14001, a stringent environmental management standard. The first paint manufacturer in the southern hemisphere to do so.

Recent Projects

	Deloitte Centre, 80 Queen St., Auckland. In 2006 Dulux Architectural began discussions with Multiplex Constructions, now BrookfieldMultiplex, Woods Baget (Sydney), Warren & Mahoney and Holmes Fire & Safety to collaborate on coatings and finishes for this sophisticated design and build project where an NZGBC Green 5 Star Design Rating has been accredited. One of the first buildings in New Zealand to be rated against this criteria. D & H Steel have done the structural steelwork, Zone NZ Specialist Coatings have supplied the intumescent coatings, applied by NZCPM to meet compliant specification.
	Mainfreight Building and Head Office in Otahuhu Back in 2005/6, we worked closely in consultation with and assisted the architects BSW Ltd in Auckland, the steel fabricator D&H Steel Ltd, the main contractor Dominion Constructors Ltd and the coatings applicator Avondale Blasting & Coatings to achieve a satisfactory outcome for Mainfreight in their new HO and Terminal building in Otahuhu.
