North Harbour Tennis Centre A dramatic structural form has created arguably New Zealand’s finest tennis centre. The engineers made a rigorous commitment to the structural design and detailing and produced a robust and durable arena of spaciousness and light. The spectator galleries are an elegant cantilever design providing unrestricted viewing over all parts of the stadium. The curve of the roof closely follows the focus of the “lob ball” and satisfies court standards for tennis at this level. The underlying technological appearance of the main building and the support facilities are in keeping with a sports code demanding of high performance. The overall effect is a world class experience for both players and spectators.

Villa Maria Winery - Mangere This award winning building complex is an exceptional synthesis of form and function. The structural design provides the scaffold for the architect’s minimalist palette of construction materials and has created the striking outline of these contemporary buildings. The Engineer’s crafted use of structural steel, concrete panels and native timbers with the fashioned use of food grade quality stainless steel has created an industrial complex of stoic beauty. Set in newly planted vineyards in the green belt of South East Auckland, these contemporary buildings blend with the historical romance of the wine industry. Vintage engineering.
